Nasara for Burkina

Give a better future to Burkina Faso

Why Nasara for Burkina Faso?

Nasara is a term in the local language (the Mossi dialect) that derives from “Nazarenes” or followers of Jesus the “Nazarene.” This is what the first disciples of Jesus who came to Africa to spread the word of Christ were called. Over time, Nasara has taken on the general meaning of “white man” and is the word that resonates in the ear of every volunteer who embarks on a journey to Central Africa.
Nasara for Burkina organizes mission experiences that engage both young and older individuals in volunteer work within the structure located in the capital of Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou. The aim is to promote awareness and information campaigns about the reality in which it has been operating for years and to provide concrete aid by organizing fundraising to finance projects that arise and are closely linked to local needs.

Support a child and help their family send them to school, feed them, and ensure a better future with DISTANCE SPONSORSHIP.

In the capital of Burkina Faso, we have a primary school that hosts children from disadvantaged families in the Djicofè neighborhood. The children attend school and eat at our canteen. With 200 euros per year, you can allow a child to be educated, cared for, and fed until they complete their studies, ensuring them a better future.

The support projects for the population of Burkina Faso

Nasara for Burkina offers collaboration to the population of Burkina Faso by supporting the education of young people, creating educational, healthcare, and hospitality facilities, and promoting the implementation of projects that foster emancipation from poverty and address the needs of the social and cultural environment to which they are directed, with a view to increasing local autonomy.

Over these years of activity, there have been many projects that we have completed, and each year new and more interesting projects are born, because our understanding of local needs is growing and our collaboration with local representatives is becoming stronger.

Help Belem and the Laafila Boumbou Center

In Burkina Faso, those who suffer from a stroke or need rehabilitation after a serious accident risk being left without any kind of assistance or care. Laafila Boumbou means “Health is precious,” and it is the name of the center founded by Belem, an ingenious and determined physiotherapist who welcomes and treats patients with traditional medicine, achieving great results. The facility hosts 200 people plus Belem’s team and needs many improvements: a new dormitory, new bathrooms, devices for water and electricity, and more space for everyone. Nasara wants to help Belem and his incredible rehabilitation center. Are you with us?
