With the conclusion of the 2023. – 2024. school year, we finally have the results and rankings of the CEP (elementary school diploma). Middle school education in Burkina Faso lasts for 6 years, one more than in the Italian system. The education concludes with the CM2 class.
This year our CM2 included 60 students, 15 of which receive funding from the state. 6 of these students are social cases, children taken in by the association because if their grave familial circumstances. These kids would have otherwise never had the chance to attend school without distance support? As per tradition, we award the most accomplished students. Every year, we award our 3 most academically accomplished elementary school students in the M2 class. The award is a highly coveted one, a bicycle.
